Vehicle Description 1990 Buick Reatta Convertible VIN:
IG4EC33C6LB908462 As Buick's first two-seater and, in 1990 and 1991, its first convertible since the 1985 Riviera, the Reatta was manufactured in a highly specialized assembly program at the Reatta Craft Center in Lansing, Michigan.
For the Reatta's manufacturing process, specialized teams of workers assembled the car at a series of stations rather than on a conventional assembly line.
After a team had completed their portion of the assembly, the car would be moved by robots to the next station.
Paintwork was performed on site under subcontract to PPG Industries.
Under this process, Buick achieved production of over 21,000 units in four years, creating a highly collectible car.
The Reatta Convertible presented at auction is an excellent, original example with the following:
- Buick 3800 V6 Engine - Automatic Transmission - Excellent Exterior and Interior Condition - Paint Shows Very Well - No Rips or Tears on the seats - Convertible Top in Excellent Condition - Odometer Shows 45,450 miles - 4 New Tires and 4 Wheel Alignment - New Front Struts and Subframe Bushings Just over 2000 Reatta Convertibles were produced in the 1990 model year.
Production of the Reatta would end with the 1991 model year, making this car very collectible.
The low miles and excellent condition of this car enhances it's addition to any collection or just to enjoy as a driver! This car has been consigned to the 9th Annual Montana Classic Car Auction hosted by the Classic Car Auction Group.
The auction is Saturday, September 4 at MetraPark in Billings, Montana.
