Education Reporter

Company Name:
Lee Enterprises
## Description
The Billings Gazette, Montana's largest newspaper, needs a reporter who isn't afraid of a great challenge.
Billings is home to the largest school district in the state, and we're looking for a K-12 education reporter who will cover public schools in the area as the districts build new buildings and plan for the future. We also continue to tell the story of a district that is growing, improving and sending students into an increasingly competitive world.
The next education reporter will cover school board meetings, as well as track trends and get into the classroom for features. This person must thrive on diversity and not be afraid to ask the tough questions. The Gazette is a great place to write the stories you want, as well as be an essential voice for readers who are passionate about public education.
Billings is a great city to live and play in; it has the great outdoors, great shopping, great food and great stories. It has the best of West and is big enough without being too large. If this sounds interesting, we'd like to hear from you. Billings is also a community with great food, entertainment, shopping and outdoor activities (skiing is close by, and so is Yellowstone Park and the Little Bighorn Battlefield).
We offer an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays and vacation. We are an equal opportunity employer. You can see our Web site at and learn more about our company at .
If this sounds like you, then send a cover letter, no more than five clips and three references to .
