KEY
Responsibilities:
Conduct visual inspections of welded joints and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and dye penetrant testing.
Interpret and enforce welding procedures and codes.
Collaborate with welding and fabrication teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken.
Provide guidance and training to welding personnel on quality control standards and procedures.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols within the welding environment.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Have a minimum VT Level II in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A Maintain their CWI certificate Have a minimum of 3 years of field experience in fabrication and site repair/construction of above ground storage tanks Have basic knowledge of NDE methods PT, UT, MT, WFMT, PMI, and RT.
Be able to pass a background check Be able to pass a drug and breath alcohol test Have a valid TWIC card
