Elite Accounting, Consulting and Tax Elite Accounting, Consulting and Tax Billings, MT Billings, MT Full-time Full-time $20 - $30 an hour $20 - $30 an hour The Bookkeeper is responsible for tracking clients' revenue, expenses, and taxes, as well as producing financial reports in QuickBooks Online.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Onboarding new clients from QuickBooks Desktop or other software to QuickBooks Online.
Process invoices, reconcile accounts, perform payroll functions, and maintain the general ledger for multiple clients Prepare accounting records by compiling account information Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements Maintains physical and electronic records, documentation, and files Composes and/or types correspondence, reports, and related materials Gain cross training and proficiency in other duties to assist staff with clients Performs other related duties as assigned Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks - Proficient Bachelor's or Associate degree in accounting or business preferred Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, At least five years of QuickBooks experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
