6K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago As a Laboratory Technician you will help prepare all blood components for delivery to our hospital and patient.
You will perform a variety of tasks and processes related to blood component preparation, including centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.

What to Expect -Schedule:
Shift choice Monday -Friday 10 hours:
4 days @ 3:
30PM - 2:
00 AM or 8 hours:
5 days @ 5:
30 PM - 2:
00 AM.

Assure product quality, volume, assay requirements, appearance, and time requirements.
Maintain accurate records and computer entry for component production.
Perform receipt of freshly drawn units and samples, and unpacks, evaluates, and routes samples for accessioning.
Perform labeling of routine and special components and quarantine of unacceptable components.
Maintain equipment and work areas, as assigned.
High school diploma or GED Able to lift up to 50lbs -with reasonable accommodation.
Will stand majority of shift.
