Summary:
Assists the Controller in the day to day operation of the accounting functions within Golden Route Operations located in Montana including the recording of revenue, preparation of drop sheets for collections and payments, conducting bank transactions for collections and payments, auditing the vault operations, preparing and posting Journal Entries and preparing Balance Sheet Reconciliations Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for various office duties including, but not limited to; opening and routing incoming mail, typing routine correspondence, preparing outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes, and filing paperwork into file systems.
Building and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
Protecting the organization's value by keeping information confidential Maintain an accurate account of company funds and account for the check-in and issuance of route banks Ensure the accuracy of check-in /check-out, and issuance of cash bankrolls Preparation of daily bank deposits Perform audit of daily revenue information Record daily information into revenue audit report forms and checklists Evaluate various situations, with respect to slot audits, and determine how to handle the situation Accountable for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports Ensure compliance with all company internal controls, policies and procedures Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards Ensures the proper retention of documentation, in accordance with the Internal Control Standards of the company and in compliance with the mandates of the regulatory agencies Other duties as assigned Requirements:
Qualifications 2 years experience in accounting Preferred experience in the gaming industry Proven experience providing high level of guest service Ability to use standard office equipment, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to operate a ten-key.
Excellent communication, organizational, attention to detail, and analytical skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal Verify right to work in the United States Work Cards Driver's License Physical Requirements Occasionally push and/or pull up to 25 lbs.
Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs.
