Qualifications:
Minimum HS Graduate / GED Equivalent Minimum 21 years of age and parenting experience is preferred but not required Valid Montana Driver's License w/clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and an insurable driving record Dependable vehicle is needed, to assist w/transportation.
MUST be able to show proof of insurance, for any employee transporting clients.
Auto insurance must meet the minimum standards set by this agency and the State of Montana DPHHS/Child & Family Services Must be able to successfully pass an extensive criminal background check that meets the standards of both our company and the State of Montana DPHHS/Child & Family Services to work with families and children.
Schedule:
Tuesday thru Saturday.
Must be able to work one weekend day.
Work hours will vary up to 40-hrs/week, with some flexibility on scheduling client case load.
Qualified candidates must be able to work hours past 5:
00pm, but usually never later than 8:
00pm.
Prefer Full-Time but would consider Part-Time hours.
Job Description:
Help maintain the parent-child bond by providing visitation for children and their parents.
Coordinate parenting time visitation between parents, guardian, family and/or foster parents, and transporting children to and from visits.
Assist with visit planning and providing coaching techniques and debriefings; helping to improve parenting skills and interactions.
Facilitate meaningful and nurturing visitation; helping parents meet the physical, emotional and developmental needs of their children.
Ensure the safety of children and model appropriate interactions between parents and children.
Work collaboratively with Colleagues, Foster & Kinship Placements, and Social Workers at Child & Family Services, as well as other community providers.
Assist parents with concrete needs and link to resources that can assist with reunification goal.
Complete and maintain any documentation consistent with our program and agency standards.
Completes all required case file documentation in a timely and routine fashion.
Monitoring any scheduled Safe Transfers of children.
Maintain an acceptable case load approved by the Director and be flexible to assist with co-worker's cases when needed.
Adheres to agency-client confidentiality, and State & Federally mandated reporting policies.
Conducts intakes and orientations with both custodial and non-custodial parents participating in our programs.

Complete both objective and factual documentation of all visits and correspondence of clients and those involved in the agencies case load.

Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.
Must maintain a valid Montana Driver's License and an acceptable/insurable driving record.
When transporting clients, employees must maintain automobile insurance to agencies minimum standards and update agency of any changes in insurance providers.
Must maintain a strong knowledge of child development and parenting skills.
Must be able to successfully maintain a clean Criminal Background & Motor Vehicle Record that meets the standards of both our agency and the State of Montana DPHHS/Child & Family Services to work with family and children.
These standards will be checked by both the State of Montana and our agency.
